Quick answer
Choose the Malibu Sofa & Loveseat if you want a modular, extra-deep seat for sprawling; choose the Lilium Sofa & Loveseat if you prefer a put-together look with reversible cushions and a lower price.
Comfort and configuration differences
The Malibu is a fully modular sectional that you can reconfigure for any room layout. Its extra-deep seat cushions invite sprawling and stretching out, making it ideal for family movie nights or lounging with friends. The Lilium, by contrast, is a fixed set with a more traditional profile—it's designed to make a room feel finished without the need for rearrangement.
Durability and maintenance
Both sets are handcrafted in Dallas by the same company, but they approach longevity differently. The Lilium has reversible seat cushions that flip and rotate for even wear, plus bagged and baffled back cushions that maintain shape. The Malibu also uses bagged and baffled back cushions, but its seat cushions are extra-deep and not reversible—so you may need to rotate them manually to extend life.
